“Itinerary”
Day 1: Arrive to Cairo, Egypt
Upon arriving to Cairo international airport, you will be met and greeted by our Elshams travel representative, who will assist you with the airport formalities and your luggage, then he will transfer you privately to your hotel in Cairo to stay for 3-night include daily buffet breakfast.

Day 2: Full day guided tour; Memphis, Sakkara and Giza plateau.
Drive to Memphis; the first and oldest capital of unified Egypt, built by King Menes around 3200, proceed to Sakkara where the burial place of the old kingdom (Sakkara is the necropolis of Memphis, it contains an extensive field of monuments including 14 pyramids and hundreds of beautiful colored tombs and addition to the tomb of the sacred bull Ibis at Serapuim) where you will see the step pyramid built by king Djoser 2680 B.C. Lunch included and will be served in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids, then after lunch break, we will continue our tour to visit the three pyramids and mythical Sphinx at Giza Plateau, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Full day tour Cairo.
This morning indulge yourself into unforgettable tour in Cairo, where you will visit the Egyptian museum which houses more than 160,000 master pieces of antiquities of ancient Egypt, in addition to the treasures of the young king Tut-Ankhamoun, continue your visits to Salah Al-Din citadel and the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Aly enclosed. Lunch included and will be served in a local restaurant near by the citadel, following lunch, walk from the twin-towered Bab el-Fotouh - a fortified gate in Cairo's Old City walls- to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the city's major souks (open air marketplaces), where you participate in a free-wheeling treasure hunt and put your bargaining skills to the test. Browse the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelry and vegetables, all on a street that has hardly changed in centuries, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4: fly to Luxor & visit the east bank of Thebes.
Check out your hotel after breakfast, transfer to Cairo domestic terminal to fly to Luxor-the site of the ancient city of Thebes; the capital of the great Pharaohs of ancient Egypt during the glorious reign of the Egyptian empire of the New kingdom.
On arriving at Luxor airport, our representative there will pick you up and company you to check in your hotel in Luxor for 2-night includes buffet breakfast and dinner.
After checking-in your hotel, you have a full day tour includes lunch and visits; the beautiful temple of Luxor where you will be amazed by the three colossal statues of king Ramses II, along the front of the temple pylons; the Courtyard of Ramses II behind the East Tower, and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 14 papyrus-headed columns, some fully 50 feet in height. Then, lunch will be served in a local restaurant closed to the historical site, and after lunch break you will continue your tour to visit the magnificent temples of Karnak; the place where the legendary pharaohs wished to record their names there, dinner and overnight at your hotel in Luxor.

Day 5: full day guided tour; The Necropolis of Thebes on the west bank.
This morning you will cross to the west bank of the Nile to explore its treasures; the colossi of Memnon, and the Necropolis of Thebes, and continue to the Valley of the Kings, burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a period of 500 years beginning in the 16th century BC, tombs were built along this valley for pharaohs and nobles, including that of “the boy king,” Tut-Ankhamoun. Found in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter. Also visit the tomb of Seti I, the father of Ramses II, one of the best-preserved tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Later, stop at the mortuary Temple of queen Hatshepsut; the ancient Egypt’s powerful female pharaoh and regarded today as one of its most successful rulers, then continue to the Valley of the Queens. A stop at a local restaurant where your lunch will be served at then precedes your return to hotel on the east bank, dinner and overnight at your hotel in Luxor.

Day 6: flight back to Cairo.
Check out the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo where your second stay for one-night includes buffet breakfast.
Free time at your leisure for shopping in Cairo, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 7: home departure.
Check out the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo international airport for your home departure.
